Hi, my name is Danielle

I'm a San Jose family photographer serving the Bay Area and Northern California. I believe family photos shouldn't feel stressful or complicated. My goal is to make the experience feel easy, relaxed, and genuinely fun, so you can simply enjoy being together.

What it's like to work with me
More than a photo session
I know being in front of a camera can feel intimidating. You might be wondering if your kids will cooperate, if your husband is going to enjoy it, or if you'll have any idea what to do.
That's okay.
My job isn't to expect perfection. It's to create an experience that feels relaxed, easy, and actually enjoyable for everyone.
Before your session, we'll chat by email and plan everything together. I'll help you choose the perfect location, decide what to wear, and answer any questions along the way. You don't have to figure it all out on your own. I want you to feel prepared and excited before we ever meet.
When your session arrives, you don't have to worry about posing or making sure everyone is looking at the camera. I'll gently guide you when you need it, but I also know when to step back. I want your session to feel more like spending time with your family than checking something off your to do list.
Capturing the way your family loves each other is my favorite part of what I do. The little glances, the belly laughs, the way your child reaches for your hand. Those are the things I notice because they're already happening. You don't have to create them.
My hope is that you leave thinking, "That was so much easier than I expected." And of course, with photos that feel like you.
My hope is that you leave with beautiful photos, but even more than that, I hope you leave thinking, "That was actually so much fun."
Motherhood has changed the way I see the world. I notice the little hands reaching for yours, the way your child leans into you when they're tired, the silly conversations on a walk. Those ordinary moments have become my favorite part of family life.
You don't have to worry about being "perfect" in front of the camera. I'll guide you when you need it, but there isn't a right or wrong way to do this. My goal is for you to leave thinking, "That was actually really fun."
